An Indian Based esports firm NODWIN Gaming Raises $22.5 Million In Funding From south Korea’s leading Games Developing company Krafton, is the same company that has developed Pubg Mobile, Mist over, Elyon, and other popular games.
NODWIN Gaming is also a subsidiary of Nazara Technologies, which invested in NODWIN Gaming in 2018.
Indian Startup NODWIN Gaming secured $22.5 Million funding in the third round as its also a subsidiary of Nazara Technologies, which invested in Nodwin gaming in 2018 along with JetSynthesys Private Limited, backed by Infosys Limited.
Even After $22.5 Million funding NODWIN Gaming’s new investor Krafton holds only a minor percentage of the shares, but Nazara Technologies, which is backed by Indian Warren Buffet Rakesh Jhunjhunwala holds 50% stakes in Nodwin Gaming and will continue to hold it.
On which Nazara technology said that they were the first in India to believe in the esports potential, and they have strong support for NODWIN Gaming, and they believe that KRAFTON and Nazara group will expand the esports ecosystem across India and neighboring countries.
What NODWIN Gaming Will Do With $22.5 Million Fundings.
NODWIN Gaming has said they will use these fresh funds to expand their ecosystem in the Middle East, South Asia countries, also to grow the size of their time, and to provide good gaming infrastructure to its users, organizing more tournaments on a national or international level.
